Dr. Andrea Moolenbeek



Chief of Staff

Dr. Andrea Moolenbeek, our chief of staff, joined Natick Animal Clinic in 1992 as a kennel attendant. She was born and raised in Massachusetts and attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she graduated summa cum laude in 1994 with a bachelor’s degree in animal science.

She continued to work at Natick Animal Clinic as a receptionist and veterinary assistant during her undergraduate studies at UMass and after being accepted to Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. Upon graduating with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Tufts in 1998, she became a full-time practicing veterinarian at Natick Animal Clinic. Dr. Moolenbeek has special interests in veterinary dentistry, dermatology, nutrition and small-mammal medicine. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Massachusetts Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Animal Hospital Association. She teaches occasionally at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University and is the Vice President of the Veterinary Alumni Association. In her free time, Dr. Moolenbeek enjoys reading, skiing and golfing, but most of all, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. Her personal zoo includes three dogs (Lowell, Louis and Penny), three cats (Ginger, Elizabeth and Chester), a guinea pig (Rudy), fish, hens, roosters and a duck.
